How does Shed work?

To get started, click here or visit us at tryshed.com.
You will then be prompted to fill out an intake form which will provide one of our healthcare providers with information about your medical history. Based on this information, a determination will be made on whether or not you qualify for your requested treatment.Depending on the state you live in, your consultation may be conducted asynchronously, meaning your provider can determine your eligibility (just on your online application alone) without a video visit.In some states, a video visit with your healthcare provider is required. If you reside in one of these states, you will be prompted to schedule a video consult after submitting your intake form. Then, you’ll get paired up with the proper weight-loss medication you and a licensed healthcare provider you feel good about, which you’ll commit to for two months. You will also work with Member Success Managers and Health Coaches who will help you every step of the way. From there, your medication will arrive right to your door typically within 5-10 business days.Shed is currently available in all 50 states across the United States.Please be aware that our platform is not currently accessible in Puerto Rico.If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. What happens after I submit my application?

Once you’ve submitted your application, your consultation will be conducted asynchronously or virtually, depending on the state you live in.
 
In some states, a video visit with a healthcare provider is required. If you reside in one of these states, you will be prompted to schedule a video consult after submitting your intake form.
 
Once your asynchronous review or video consult is complete, we will follow up via text message to confirm your order has been processed or provide you more information regarding your order.
 
Please note, a virtual consult is not required if your evaluation can be conducted asynchronously in your state. If a virtual consult becomes required, a Member Success Manager will reach out with that request. They may also contact you with follow-up questions about your application.

How do I receive my prescription?

Once you have been approved for your treatment, allow up to 2-6 business days for your order to be processed and shipped right to your door. Please note, our partner pharmacies are unable to ship to PO boxes.
